The Newberry Sun, Newberry, S. C., Thursday, March 19, 1970—PAGE 7 Fulmer dies in Georgia Clyde Eugene Fulmer died Tuesday in Albany, Ga. He was bom and reared in Newberry and was the son of Willie E. Fulmer and the late Eva Morris Fulmer. He had made his home in Albany for a number of years and was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie Ruth Manning Fulmer; one son, Aaron Fulmer; one daughter, Miss Kimberly Ful mer, all of Albany; his father, Willie E. Fulmer; his stepmoth er, Mrs. Lottie Fulmer, both of Newberry; two brothers, Fred Fulmer, Newberry and Ralph Fulmer, Greenwood; one sister, Mrs. Pauline Geddings, Colum bia, and a number of uncles and aunts. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from his church with Rev. Carl H. Fish er conducting. Interment was in Floral Memorial Gardens in Al bany. Miss Wicker dies at age 87 Miss Lou Della Wicker, 87, died last week in Columbia af ter several years of declining health. She was born and reared in this county, daughter of the late Newton Calvin and Sara Setzler Wicker. She had made her home in the St. Phillips section and was one of the old est members of St. Phillips Lu theran Church. Surviving are two brothers, William Ernest Wicker of New berry and John Albert Wicker of Pomaria, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from her church conducted by the Rev. C. G. Walck. Interment was in the church cemetery. J. E. Bickley service Friday James Edward Bickley, 76, died Wednesday of last week after a short critical illness. He was born in this county, son of the late William S. and Mary Swindler Bickley. He had been an insurance agent with the Liberty Life Insurance Co. and was a member of Epting Memorial Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mattie Timmons Bickley; one son, Herbert Bickley of Ral eigh, N. C.; three brothers, Robert and Bennie Bickley of Newberry and Joe Bickley of Nova Scotia, Canada; and one grandchild, David Bickley of Raleigh, N. C. Funeral services were held Friday at the Whitaker Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Donald Funderburk. Interment was in Rosemont Cemetery, Springdale Section. R. F. Longshore rites Saturday Roy Forest Longshore, 74, died Friday morning at New berry Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Mr. Longshore was born and reared in this county, the son of the late Wilson E. and Lucy Lake Longshore. He had made his home in Newberry for a number of years and was a re tired employee of Oakland and Newberry Mills. He was a mem ber of Lewis United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha Bodie Longshore; five sons, Irby Lee, Forest (Bushy), Willie, Fred and Bobby Long shore, all of Newberry; three daughters, Mrs. Douglas Mills, Mrs. Lewis Bobb, both of New berry, Mrs. Talbert Werts, Pros perity; his step-mother, Mrs. Henrietta Longshore, Newberry; one brother, Wilmer W. Long shore, Silverstreet; five sisters, Mrs. Ida Martin, Mrs. Ella Mae Weeks, Mrs. Sara Suber, Mrs. Dorothy Satterwhite, all of New berry and Mrs. Annie Gist of Sumter; 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a num ber of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday from McSwain Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Alley and Rev. James Mishoe con ducting. Interment followed in Trinity Church Cemetery.
