LFranklin service Friday Zack Edward Franklin, 64, of 502 Main Street, died last Wed nesday at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital after a sud den illness. Mr. Franklin was born in Newberry, the son of the late David I. and Bessie Boozer Franklin. He was a retired em ployee of Newberry Mills and a member of O’Neal Street Methodist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mac Chappell of Colum bia; and one brother, Herman Franklin of West Palm Beach, Florida. Funeral services were con ducted Friday at Whitaker Fun eral Home by Rev. Elbert John son and Rev. William Bouknight III. Interment was in Rosemont Cemetery.
