As with other forms of wealth, credit cards also represent a potential loss. Many insurance companies of fer low-cost credit card insur- holder from financial loss aris ing out of illegal use of his cred it cards and charge plates, the Insurance Information Institute reports. Many insurance companies in clude with their credit card cov erage, protection for losses in- for gery and mistakeningly accept ing counterfeit money. Normally, this protection is attached to an existing policy, such as homeowner’s or fire at an annual cost of $1.00 to $3.00 per thousand dollars of cover age. Featured in Sandlapper Most spectators at Newberry College football games do not know Benny Ferguson, but they do know the bright, brassy Fer guson sound which adds its own touch to the half-time activities. “Sandlapper — The Magazine of South Carolina’’ is featuring in its current issue Benny Fer guson, the young Newberry Col- ege trumpeter who is putting himself through school with his musical talent and his plucky perseverance. For Benny the greatest musi cal sound is the big jazz band sound—rich, deep, solid. This summer he and other members of the College “N” orchestra spent five days at the Lutheran- sponsored YOUTH EXPO in De troit showing young people that real jazz can be more exciting than the current commerical jazz sounds. Benny has toured with bands of Billy Stewart and of Jerry Butler. He has considered fol lowing the big jazz band cir cuit, but acknowledges that that’s all in the future.
