Farmer and Nora Elaine Farmer, one lot and one build ing, $100 and assumption of a mortgage. HONOR STUDENT CITADEL GRADUATE Cadet Robert Glenn Lister, Jr. son of Mr. and Mrs. R. G. List er, Sr., 1519 Mower St., was graduated from The Citadel in a colorful ceremony Saturday. He received his diploma and a congratulatory handshake from Gen. Hugh P. Harris, president of the military college. During his career as a cadet, Lister held the rank of sergeant within the Corps of Cadets. He wore Gold Stars, signifying ac ademic achievement above the Dean’s List, and was a mem ber of the Circle “K” Club, the Baptist Student Union, and the Student Chapter of the National Education Association. On grad uating from The Citadel, he was commissioned a second lieuten ant in the U. S. Air Force. He majored in education and was awarded the B. S. degree. Three attend Moose meeting Governor Billye L. West and Junior Governor Bobby Nichols of Newberry Moose Lodge No. 2211 will serve as delegates to the 81st annual international convention of the Loyal Order of Moose to be held at Moose- heart on June 29 and in Chicago on June 30 through July 3. Other member of the lodge planning to attend is John Will ingham, trustee. They will be among 8,000 Moose men and women attending the convention and the conference of the Wom en of the Moose. Five major activities have been scheduled for the opening day at the Moose City of Child ren. These include the confer ring of the College of Regents degree in the field house and the Pilgrim Degree of Merit in the House of God. A gigantic roast beef buffet will be served to all registered conventioneers. Grand opening of the convention will begin at 2:30 at the stadium with Sup reme Governor Cecil D. Web ster presiding. This will be fol lowed by a special Mooseheart children’s pageant presented by Supt. Walter H. Ketz and his staff. Last, and probably most im portant, during the day conven tioneers will have the opportun ity to view the newly renovated Baby Village and to inspect the progress being made in the Mooseheart Modernization Pro gram. Scene of the convention and women’s conference will shift to the Hilton Hotel in Chicago on Monday morning. Business ses sions will be held from Monday through Thursday mornings, with panel sessions scheduled for the first three afternoons. Social activities will include the Pilgrim breakfast Monday morning, Fellowship breakfast Tuesday morning, quartet com petition and civic affairs pro gram Monday evening, 25 Club party Tuesday evening and the Grand Ball on Wednesday night.
