Effective May 1st, 1968, we adopted the “Savings Certificate ,, which pays
5% per annum on $5,000 to $10,000.00. On Certificates from $10,000 and
up we pay 5 1-4% per annum, which is the highest legal rate we can pay.
This plan has been very popular.
These certificates are redeemable at any time, and are automatically re
newed each 6 months. They are insured to the full legal limit of $15,000 by
the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation, Washington, D. C.
We invite you to start a savings program for 1969. We hold Federal Char
ter No. 860, and now have assets in excess of $30 Million Dollars and Re
serves of $2,389,177.60.
