Col. W. E. Anderson, aca
demic dean, announced the ‘
winners, including 68 who were
awarded Gold Stars, signifying
a grade point ratio of 3.6 or
higher—virtually straight A’s.
Others on the Dean’s List must
have a grade point ratio of
at least 3.0, which is the ap
proximate equivalent of all B's
Colonel Anderson praised the
students who achieved Dean’s
List status, and said, “Achieve
ment of a place in the Dean’s
List provides strong motivation
for cadets to excel scholastic-
ally.”

their first Dean’s List award
will be presented the medal
and a bar signifying that it is
