Dominick. (Sunphoto) Academy opens September 3rd President James C. Kinard of The Newberry Academy an nounces that the term will be gin on Tuesday, September 3rd, at 8:30 a.m. He reports that the applications already accept ed exceed the enrollment of last year by more than forty per cent. Every afternoon from five o’clock on into the late night hours groups of parents and other friends are in the building with paintbrushes and carpen ter’s tools. The classrooms are being made more attractive. Much work is planned for the grounds to provide additional recreational facilities. The ex terior of the building will be given a face lifting. In the kindergarten two ad ditional rooms are being renov ated to accommodate the high er attendance there next year. Dr. Kinard voices his appre ciation of the enthusiastic team work and he believes this will result in a finer type of instruc tion for the students.
