Fulmer rites Sunday Henry Perry Fulmer, 7!b ot Little Mountain, died Thursday mpht a; the Columbia llo-pi- tal after a lonp illness. A life bmp resident of Newberry County, he was a son of the late Perry B. and Adel Smith Fulmer. He was a retired car penter and farmer, and was a member of Holy Trinity La theran Church. Survivinp are his wife, Ruth Farr Fulmer of the home; foui sons, (ieorge B. Fulmer of Po maria Raymond Fulmer of Easley, Herman Fulmer, serv- inp >1' Vietnam, Charles Fulmer of Lake City. (’., Miss Ann Ful mer, both of Columbia, and Mrs. Baxter (Ophelia) Lever of Chapin; two sisters, Mrs. James L. Hartley of St. Au- pustine, Fla., and Mrs. Charles Bacon of Jacksonville, Fla., a brother, Ward Fulmer of Col umbia; 14 prandchildren and 11 preat-prandchildren. Funeral strviees were held Sunday at 2:30 p. m. from Holy Trinity Church with Rev. Garth L. Hill conductinp the service Burial was in the church cem etery. Hart Jordan, manager of the Oakland Plant, presided and welcomed visitors. Also present was J. B. Baker of Charlotte Director of Manufacturing for Kendall’s Tex tile Division. Recognized for 25 years of service were S. H. Auton, M. E. Bouknight, M. W. Bouknight, J. M. Dominick, E. M. Fuller, M. F. Nichols, E. C. Smith,, M. K. Stone and L. P’. Stuckman. The awards were presented by the overseers of the department in which the employees work. Honored for 35 years service were 0. C. Lever, J. Smith, Jr. and J. N. Suber. En graved wrist watches were presented these three by Mr. Jordan, who also presented 45 year awards to H. D. Bouknight and V. E. Price. Both had ben honored at previous awards banquets and this year Mr. Bouknight received an assortment of fishing equipment, Mr. Price a gift certificate for a chain saw.
