Mrs. John Donald Rook of Newberry announces the
engagement of her daughter, Donna, to Cary Ernest
Stroud of Chesterfield. Miss Rook’s father was the late
John Donald Rook of this city. She received a B.S. degree
in 1966 from Furman University, and is a second year
medical student at Bowman-Gray School of Medicine in
Winston Salem, N. C.
Mr. Stroud, the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. .F Stroud of
Chesterfield, was graduated from Furman University
with a B.S. degree. He is a third year medical student at
the Bowman-Gray School of Medicine.
A small wedding for the immediate families is planned
for April 13 in Winston Salem.
