YTLE SEASON
By tht* time you read this,
the Wednesday afternoon Par
ade will have officially ushered
in the Yule season which makes
us pause to think how quickly
the year has passed. Seems al
most impossible at was Id
months ago that we were wor
rying about finding time for
Christmas shopping and the
other activities that go along
with the time of year. Now
here it is that time again.
It is still not a happy time
for those men in \ ietnam,
fighting a no-wm war, ami
their families back home. It
has been my thought for the
past couple of years now that
one of two things would hap
pen: (dther that conflict would
be over, or there would be all-
out war just prior to the next
presidentuii election. The first
intimation that one of them
