C., Thursday, Nov. 16, 1967 Wherry-Moss Rites Spoken In Spartanburg Ceremony Marriages Leon Franklin Fulmer, of Prosperity and Brenda Gayle Frick of Chapin were merried at Chapin on October 22. Pleasant Bennett Frick of Little Mountain and Iona ftli- zabeth Smith Bowers of New berry were married October 27 at Chapin. Leopold Frank Sitnik Jr. and Emily Louise Cromer of Dur ham, N. C. were married at Newberry on November 4. Robert Henry of Greenville and Betty Bill of Orlando, Fla. were married at Greer on Sep tember 30. HOSPITAL PATIENTS Miss Janie Elizabeth Wherry was married to Terry Eugene Moss of Huntsville, Alabama, Saturday at 7:30 P.M. at Trin ity Methodist church. They will reside at 2714 Seventh Avenue, Apt. D., in Huntsville after a trip to the mountains of North Carolina and Virginia. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Augustus Wherry of 530 Union street, Spartan burg, the bride was given in marriage by her father. Mr. Moss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Brown Moss of Great Falls was attended by his father as best man. Lewis Towery of Great Falls, the groom’s nephew and son of Mrs. Gail Towery, was the ring bearer. The Rev. M. D. Moore of ficiated at the double ring cer emony which took place in a traditional nuptial setting. The music was furnished by Mrs. Charles N. Gignilliat, Thomas Lyles Jr., organist and Frank Dillard, vocalist. Acolytes were Robert Neal Davis anl John Daniel Davis of Newberry, cousins of the bride. They also served as ushers along with Thomas M. Hollis of Columbia, Michael Horton of Charlotte, Jack Reeves of Great Falls and Henry David Warren of New berry, cousin of the bride. The bride wore a Princess style gown of light ivory coloi silk faced peau de soie with reembroidered Alencon lace, bugle beads and seed pearls around the neckline and bord ering the long fitted sleeves. Large motifs of lace were used on the full Camelot train which was detachable from the shoulder line. Her headdress was a French style bow with a floor-length silk illusion veil appliqued at the bottom with reimbroidered Alencon lace. She carried a Bible covered with a cascade bouquet of roses and centered with a white orchid. Miss Donna Brunson of Great Falls and Winthrop Col lege, a cousin of the bride groom, attended as maid of honor. Flower girls were Misses Lorie and Lisa Mc Kinney, cousins of the bride and twin daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis McKinney, of Thomasville, Ga. Also attending the bride were Mrs. Heber Long, New berry, cousin of the bride, Miss Connie Clifford of Miami ano Columbia College, Miss Faye J. Harrelson of Calumbia, Miss Cathy Simpson of Coral Gables Florida and Columbia College, and Miss Kathy Painter, of partanburg and Winthrop Col lege. All attendants were dressed in identical full length Empire style gowns of sapphire blue velvet with long ice-blue sleeves. Their headdresses were of velvet and they carried cas cade bouquets of light blue tinted chrysanthemums. The flower girls were dressed in similar dresses of blue velvet and carried light blue lace with velvet trim baskets filled with rose petals. Immediately following the ceremony a church reception was given by the bride’s par ents in the Fellowship hall. Mrs. Moss, a graduate of Spartanburg High school at tended Columbia college. Her husband was graduated from Great Ralls High school and received a B.S. degree in elec trical engineering from Uni versity of South Carolina. He is presently employed with the Boeing Company, Spacecraft Division, Red Stone Arsenal in Huntsvillle Alabama.
