Federation of Music Clubs, will be guest of the Newberry Music Club at the home of Miss Juanita Hitt, 1809 Nance street, on Tuesday, November 14 at 8:00 p.m. Other guests will include the national winners of the 1966 American Music Awards. Mrs. Jones is a native and resident of Fountain Inn .She attended Furman University and was graduated from Col umbia College wdth a B.S. de gree of music. She has served in various offices of her local music club, including serving as president from 1962-65. She was state regional vice presid ent from 1963-1967. She is director of the First Baptist Church Adult and Youth Choirs at Fountain Inn, Intermediate Training Union, member of the executive com mittee of Greenville County March of Dimes and member of the Fountain Inn Garden Club. Bazaar be held next Thursday Many attractive items wall be on sale when the ladies of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church hold their annual bazaar on Thursday, November 16 from 10 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Luncheon will be served from noon until 2:00 p.m a.nd will consist of a salad plate with coffee. Among the items for sale will be in the wood room, children’s clothes rack, blue bird houses ,luggage racks, lap boards, napkin holders, rec ipe holders, casserole holders and step stools. There will be linen bridge sets, place mats and napkins, burlap hand bags, pillow and nylon scrubbers. The bakery shop will feature pies ,ackes, candies, tassies, breads, biscuits and brownies. There will also be Christmas angels, fruit rings, Christmas balls, little girls jump ropes, Chelsea flowers, antiqued milk can table, antiqued tin decora ted cups. The public is cordially in vited. GOLDEN AGE TO MEET NOVEMBER 15TH The Golden Age Fellowship will meet Wednesday afternoon November 15 in the Social Hall of General Methodist Church. The Wesleyan Service Guild will be hostess.
