Our tourist trade currently
is worth more than a quarter
of million dollars a year. Of
that amount, at least $13 mil
lion finds its way into our
State’s treasury. The tourist
dollar is particularly valuable
because it is earned elsewhere
but “stays" in South Carolina.
Full development of our
tourism potential » a win
endeavor, and our state’s op
portunities m this Field are
practically unlimited.

Findley pointed out, as these
veterans are covered by dif-
f-rent legislation.
Almost seven million loans
have been guaranteed by the

erans since the beginning of
‘he program following World
War II. One out of every' five

following World War II was
with VA guarantee.
The Veterans Administration
will guarantee up to 60 per
cent of the purchase price of
a home for a veteran with lim
itation as to the total purchase
