GIVE Ql ALII Y GIFT
If you buy an electrical appli
ance, the material it’s made of
will make a big difference. A
quality stainless steel gift will
last a lifetime. You'll give more
pleasure with the best of a low-
priced product than with the
cheapest of a “higher-ticket” item.
Better a superb lipstick than an
immitation leather purse . . . 100
sheets of highgrade personalized
stationery than a mediocre desk
set ... a fine handkerchief than
a run-of-the-mill tie.
Tinsel Legend
There is a legend associated
with the use of tinsel as a
Christmas decoration. Accord
ing to the story, spiders cov
ered a Christmas tree with
their wehs and these, in turn,
were turned into silver threads
at the wish of the Christ Child.
KNEE BENDER No joints
are visible, but this doll actually
has legs that bend at the knee,
as well as eyes that open and
close. Mobility is accomplished
through newly developed joints
designed for durability through
continuous bending.
