It is with deepest gratitude that I express to you, the people
of Newberry County, my sincerest appreciation for again
choosing me to serve as your Representative in the General

I regret that it was necessary for Newberry county to lose
one of its representatives. 1 congratulate my opponent for
the fine manner in which he conducted his campaign and the
fine vote of confidence that he, too, received from the voters
of Newberry.
1 shall continue to represent you in the General Assembly as
1 have in the past, voting on bills and working for those things
which 1 believe to be to die best interest of our County and of
our State. ~~~
I wish to express my appreciation, also, to the many friends
who worked so hard for me during the campaign.
