berry College, according to an
announcement by Pres. C. A.
Kaufmann. Along with his work
as Academic Dean, Dr. Park
will teach advanced courses in
chemistry. He will assume his
new duties in July.

THE BUSH RIVER WATERSHED PROJECT is aimed at preventing flood conditions such as those
shown above. These pictures were taken on Friday afternoon, after an over two-inch rain, at various
portions of the proposed watershed. The top photo yvas taken in the pasture of the Singley farm in
the Bush River community. Several goats may be seen on one of the rocks in the background, ma
rooned by the high water. The bottom scene is from the bridge over Bush River on the Belfast road
and shows lands of Billy Parr being flooded by the high waters. The ordinary channel is between the

in Mayer Memorial Lutheran
