The Fennell’s daughter, Miss Molly Fennell, a senior at Mars Hill, was one of five seniors who took part in the May Day program. Mrs. Mc Gill is an alumnae of Mars Hill College. MR. AND MRS. BOBBY UN DERWOOD and son, Mike, were Mothers Day dinner guests in the home of Mr. Underwood’s mother, Mrs. Annie Mae Underwood on Clyde avenue. PVT. JIM FEAGLE, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Feagle, who has been stationed at Fort Jackson as a member of the 42nd Battalion since October 4, 1954, is being transferred Saturday to the Mar shall Islands, where he will be on duty for the next nine months. Nine months is the standard tour of duty on the Marshall islands for military personnel. MRS. JAMES SMITH, Mr. and Mrs. James Smith, Jr. and two children, Martha Jean and Monty, attended the Glasgow family re union which was held at Green wood State Park on Mothers Day. MRS. The meeting was held under the lovely Magnolia tree in the yard. • Guests enjoying this out-of-door meeting were Mrs. J. L Beden- baugh, Mrs. J. F. Browne, Mrs. J. B. 'McFerrin and Mrs. Ben M. Clark. The new president, Mrs. Ray P. Hook, presided. Committees were appointed and plans made for the new year were discussed. Mrs. C. E. Hendrix, program chairman, was unable to be pres ent and Miss Ethel Counts gave the program planned by Mrs. Hen drix. Three articles were given, “Diagnosis for Gardens Hit By The Cold”, “General Core of Gardens In May” and “Control of Insects.” Mrs. B. T. Young, substituting for Mrs. P. E.
