TOUR OF JOANNA MILLS
From 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. there will
be conducted tours of Joanna Mills, with
guides to explain the processes from
opening cotton bales to shipment of com
pleted cloth. Visitors will also see Joanna
Memorial Hospital, and Joanna Club
House. Tours will require about one hour
for each group, from the Registration
Building to the Club House.

END PRODUCTS DISPLAY
Visitors will see interesting exhibits of
Window Shades, Curtains and Draperies,
Dress Materials, Industrial Fabrics, and

many other products made from Joanna
cloth. Three out of four cloth Window
Shades in America are made of Joanna
material.
SOUVENIR BOOKLET
Each guest will be given a well-illustrat
ed Souvenir Booklet showing and telling
the story of Joanna Mills and the fine
people who work here. This Booklet will
help you remember and understand what
you see here; and it will help you to tell
others about your visit.to Joanna.
PARKING & REGISTRATION
A special Parking Area has been provid
ed next to the Registration Building,
with facilities for hundreds of cars and
buses. Attendants will assist you to
park and to leave. Officers of the S. C.
Highway Patrol will be on hand to assist
the orderly flow of traffic.
LIGHT REFRESHMENTS

Cold Drinks and cookies will be served
our guests in the Community House at
the tour’s end. Hostesses from among
Joanna’s ladies will preside at the re
freshment tables. Here friends may meet
and talk.
