This meadow will serve to hold runoff water and the sericea will be used for grazing and making hay. Regnery To Visit European Textile Experts In June Ten cotton textile experts in cluding Walter Regenery of Jo anna Mills, Joanna, will confer with European textile executives in June about ways of improving the processing of American-grown cotton. M. Earl Heard of Shawmut, Ala., chairman of the committee, said: “We hope to explain the improyement in cotton fiber prop erties and the latest technical de velopments which, if properly used, will strengthen cotton’s com petitive position and broaden its market outlets. This is the key to increasing the consumption of American cotton abroad.” Elrod Infant Died. Tuesday Interment services for the in fant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Troy E. Elrod, who died Tuesday morning at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital, were conduct ed Tuesday at 5 p.m. from the graveside in Rosemont Cemetery by the Rev. J. W. Walker. She is survived by .her parents, Troy E. and Doris Kirby Elrod; one brother, Wilton Scott Elrod; one sister, Jean Elrod; her grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. El rod of Newberry and Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Kirby of Newberry.
