ELECTION DAY
Vk in h it Over!
rpHE SLOGANS keep coming
A in. We said last week that
we would probably have 6,000
by the time that ad was print
ed. At the present rate, it will
run about 7,000.
.We told you about the mar
ried woman's slogan in regard
to “burying the bum.’* Well,
this week the married men are
even. An entry that came in
from Newberry says, “If it
hadn't been for Capital Life,
I'd have almost cried when I
lost my wife.’* I hope his wife
(for he probably has one) nev
er learns who sent this in.
While we pride ourselves on
the simplicity of our policies,
and that we do not hide be
hind subterfuges to avoid pay
ment, one person's slogan fa
cetiously says, “A Capital pol
icy will surely pay—if the fine
print on the back doesn't take
it away." But another takes the
opposite view with, “There are
no skeletons in qur clauses.”
We believe our policyholders
will agree with the latter.
Remember, the contest closes
Nov. 15. Get your entry in.
