PAGE EIGHT THE NEWBERRY SUN FRIDAY, APRIL 11, 1952 4-H Members Sell Mail Box Names The 4-H Club boys and girls have sold 150 name plates to people in the rural areas to be placed on mail boxes. The sale is being sponsored by the County Agent, Soil Conserva tion Committee, Kiwanas Club and the Chamber of Commerce. The goal of the 4-H’ers is to sell a name plate for every rural box holder in the country. These plates, with name on both sides, are very attractive and are visible at night as well as day. Anyone interested in purchas ing the plates can find them at the County Agent’s office. The boys and girls are work ing hard to get these name plates on every mail box in the country before Federal Inspection of the mail boxes some time in May.
