Kendall Thanked
For Expansion
Mr. H. P. Kendall
Kendall Co.
140 Federal" Street
Boston, Mass.
Dear Mr. Kendall:
We welcome this opportunity to
express our appreciation and con
gratulations upon the enlargement
and modernizing of your local
Oakland Plant.
Reviewing the past years, we
realize that the progress we have
made is directly due to the con
fidence and cooperation of our
friends, and we want you to know
that your part has been sincerely
appreciated.
We are proud of the expansion
and modernizing you have just
completed, here. This addition to
Oakland means- a great deal more
to us than just to have a larger
plant. It means increased em
ployment, more homes, more busi
ness, a larger and greater activity
in all lines for the city and coun
ty of Newberry. It is truly an in
spiration to us to bestir our
selves so as to justify this con
fidence and cooperation.
Congratulations upon this ex
pansion and also the big event,
“The Oakland Open House.” This
we feel will lead to a deeper ap
preciation by the people of New
berry of the large investment you
have made here, and to the mod
ernized and up-to-date plant you
have in Oakland. This plant is
a real credit to your organization
and to our community. To you,
whose foresight and leadership
has made this possible go our
congratulations.
Best wishes from the Chamber
of Commerce, and I feel sure that
I speak for all Newberry, for
the continued success of your or
ganization.
Sincerly,
L. C. Gram, Exec. Sec.
