THE NEWBERRY SUN PROSPERITY (continued from page five) Mrs. E. O. Counts is spending the week with her daughter, Mrs. John Schrum and family in Lin* colnton, N. C. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Shealy, Misses Irene Shealy and Martha Bundnck have returned to their home in Jacksonville, Fla. after a few days’ visit in the home of T. C. Hawkins. The Shealy’s came up for the funeral of M. Shealy’s brother, Howard Shealy, who died in Orlanda, Fla., Friday. Funeral services were held Mon day morning from Mt. Pilgrim Church. Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Callahan of Columbia were weekend guests of Mrs. Callahan’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Singley. Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Frank Browne were Mrs. Georgie Goode and Miss Thelma Goode of Morganton, N. C.; Bob Browne of Cherryville, N. C.; A. B. Wise, Jr. and Charles Gerald of Columbia; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Goode of Charlotte, N. C. Dr. and Mrs. George W. Har mon returned Friday from a month’s visit with their children, Major and Mrs. Frank Bradley of Alluquerque, N. M., and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Harmon of Dallas, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. L. K. Singley of Hendersonville, N. C. were recent guests of Mr. Singley’s sister, Mrs. J. D. Luther and Mr. Luther. Miss Ellen Wheeler is visiting relatives in Ridge Spring. Weekend guests of Misses Susie and Mary Langford were Miss Bessie Taylor of Batesburg and Mrs. W. B. Moore of New berry.
