CLUB PROFITS
(Continued From Page One)
Mrs. E. G. Able, who outlined
the programs for the coming
months. She then intfoduced
Mrs. J. D. Rook, who gave a
most informative talk on cam
ellias, their history and culture.
Specimen blossoms brought in
by members were used to show
the different classifications.
Each club member had been
asked to bring a flower ar
rangement and specimen cam
ellias. Just before the meet
ing was to adjourn for lunch,
it was proposed that, since
there were available so many
outstanding camellias and beau
tiful arrangements, an informal
flower show might be possible
that afternoon. Dave Caldwell,
Dr. Arthur Welling and Dr. H.
B. Senn were contacted, and
kindly consented to act as
judges. Winners for camellias
and arrangements will be found
in another article.
There being no further busi
ness the meeting was adjourn
ed. A delicious luncheon was
then served. The tables were
beautifully and appropriately
decorated by the hostesses for
the meeting. Mrs. E. G. Able;
Mrs. James Britt, and Mrs. Ar
thur Welling. During lunch,
four door prizes were present
