Scorey to Mr. Paul Smith, on Saturday, March 13, 1948, at Newberry. S. C. PERSONALS Leaving yesterday for Natchez, Miss., to attend the Natchez Pil grimage, were Mrs. J. W. White, Miss Elizabeth White of Green ville, Mrs. T. C. Johnson of Clin ton. and Mrs. F. G. Hartley. They also expect ta visit rela tives in New Orleans during the trip Mrs. R. D. Smith left Thurs day for Georgetown to spend a while with her daughter, Mrs. Danny Lambeth and Mr. Lam beth. Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Hottel, who have been occupying an apart ment in the home of Mrs. P. G. Ellesor, have moved into an apartment in the home of Mrs. J. W. White on Caldwell street. Mrs. Flossie Wood and A. L. Wool spent Tuesday afternoon in Columbia. Mrs. J. D. Hunt and daughter, Judy, of Thompson, Ga., are visiting Mrs. Hunt’s mother, Mrs. H. T. Wike. Paysinger-Sheely Continued from page four After the ceremony, the bridal party received in the vestibule of the church. During the eve ning, the couple left for a wed ding trip and upon their return will make their home in Colum bia. Mrs. Paysinger is the talent ed daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Sheely. She received her education at the Little Moun tain high school and Spartan burg Junior College. She now holds a secretarial postion at Columbia college. Mr. Paysinger is the son of John Benjamin Paysinger and the late Mrs. Paysinger of Columbia. He was educated in the Columbia city schools and was graduated from the Univer sity of South Carolina, During World War II he served in the air corps in the Euroipean thea ter, He is now employed by the Sinclair Refining Company, Columbia. Among those from Newberry attending the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bouknight, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Vines, Mrs. Della Koon, Mr. and Mrs. Will Shealy, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wise.S. C.
