urday.

Durham, N. C., over the week
end.
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Bouknight
and Mrs. Erbie Lee Longshore
and son, Erbie, Jr., visited rela
tives in Charlotte, N. C., last
weekend.
Mr. and Mr . J. D. Goodwin
and Jack were called to Florenc
last week because of the serious
illness of the Goodwin’s son, J.
D., Ji\ Mrs. Goodwin returned
very ill, but is better at this
writing.
Mrs. Henry Turner had as her
guests Sunday Mr. and Mrs.
Simpson Morris and children, and
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Snipes.

ported what he believes are the
first-bred Brahman cattle in
South Carolina.
He brought two cows and a
bull from Florida to his farm
here. He said he will cross them
with Hereford cattle as well as
raise pure Brahmans.
