There is hardly a business, shop, factory, or organization in this area that can’t employ disabled veterans to do
a job as well as unimpaired employees. ; j | . i
/
A survey just completed by the Department of Labor, in cooperation with the Veterans Administration, proves
the point They went into all kinds of light and heavy industries and got the facts from industry’s own records.
i
The physically impaired had fewer work injuries and were on the job as regularly as the unimpaired. In pro
duction, not only produced as well in most cases but better in some. Naturally, the disabled veteran must be
placed in a job in keeping with his special skills and physical capacity. \ c * * j

It’s just good business to weigh skills, experience, and physical capacity against the requirements of the specific
job. It is the job of the Veterans Employment Service, cooperating with the local offices of the State Employ
ment Service, to be of assistance to employers and to disabled veterans looking for a job. If we can be of help
