SCOUT NEWS
At the regular meeting of Troop
65, Monday, September 15, our
troop had an honored guest, Mr.
(Luther) Aull, who at one time
was the scoutmaster of the troop.
Mr. Aull told the troop how well
he thought we were progressing,
and how much he enjoyed being
with us. The troop also discussed
the trip that will be taken by the
Star, Life and Eagle Scouts. All
of the boys are trying very hard
to go on this trip. The Eagle pa
trol also gave an interesting talk
on boat safety, camping and first
aid. Then we closed the meeting
with the friendship circle, thus
closing the nights program.

“Two Frogs”
Two frogs fell into a crock of cream. One of them got
discouraged and drowned, but the other one paddled
around until he churned up a pat of butter large
enough to sit on until he was rescued.
Don’t you get discouraged about the loan on your
policy—we, too, have a plan to put, and to keep you
on top.
