2. Open to boys and girls in any pdblic school in South Carolii
3. Each paper to be certified as bona fide and original by the
cipal or superintendent.
4. Written in ink or typewritten on one side of paper only.
5. There must be at least five essays from a county before cc
are made. The best essay from each county will compete
awards.
6. In order for any one high school to be eligible for the
prizes of $10.00, $5.00, and $3.00, there must be five essa|
