following winter. As soon as the
leaves fall, the plant should be
placed in 'a cool cellar and watered
only once a week for about four
months. In late spring, it can be
repotted, the woody portion cut
back severely, and water then ap
plied more frequently. As soon as
the temperature drops no lower
than 70 degrees, the pot may be
sunk into the soil out of doors.
