ember 22, 11)45 at the residence of
the officiating minister, the Rev. J.
B. Harmon, 1004 Boundary street, in
the presence of a number cf relatives
and friends. The ring ceremony was
used.
Mrs. Harmon is a daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. L. M. Shealy of Lexington
and is a graduate of the Lexington
High school. She was becomingly
dressed in a fuschia suit with black
accessories.
Mr. Harmon is a son of Mr. and
Mrs. Killian Harmon of Lexington.
He has recently been released from
the U. S. Army after a service of 43
months, 3 years of which was ovei
seas.
They will matte their home in New
berry.

The supervisor of registration has
been ordered by the Council of the
Town of Newberry to open the books
of registration September 12. 1945
to remain open until ten days be
fore the general election of mayor
and aldermen in r'cember.
Required for registration, tax re
ceipts showing payment of all tax
es for 1942 and County and State
registration certificate.

On the 11th day of December,
1945, (Tuesday), the qualified elec
tors of the Town of Newberry, S. C.
will vote for the election of Mayor
and five Aldermen to serve for the
next two years, also one member
of the Board of Commissioners of
Public Works for a period of six
years.
The following have been appoint
ed as managers of said election:
