From our brave boys on the fighting front to the war workers and farmers on the home front is coming forth a super-human effort that is paying dividends in battles won and in more ships, more planes, more food and more of the things needed to fight a winning war. And now again comes Harvest Time. Again the American farmer has demonstrated that he is a fighter on the Food Front. The abundance of last year’s Har vest was phenomenal but this years harvest exceeds even that record. Only long hours of toil on the part of the American farmer, his family, and his helpers together with excellent planning and determination to exceed last . year’s food production could produce the miracle of this year’s Harvest. In no way discounting the supreme efforts being put forth on every front, we the business j firms below pay special tribute this Harvest Season to the American Farmer for the outstanding job he has done in producing food for our Armed Forces, our Allies and Ourselves.
