TP YOU like to knit here is a
quick way to turn garments into
attractive rugs. Cut or tear the
rags into strips three-quarter inch
wide. Turn in raw edges and use
needles three-eighths inch in di
ameter. Knit the oval center first.
Cast on four stitches and increase
one at the end of each row until
the depth of the work is four
inches, then knit evenly for ten
inches. Bind off one stitch at the
end of each row until you have
four stitches left. Bind these off.
