The State Council of Farm Women
met at Camp Long oti’ July 5th..to
7th. The delegates attending from
Newbery county were the local presi
dent Mrs. I. M. Smith, Jr., Mrs. Ray-
imond Hlpp, Mrs. Blair Boozer, Mrs.
J. H. Folk, Mis® Lillie Mae Workman,
and the Home Agent.
The programs were interesting and
instructive and featured 4-H club
work as one of the goals of the
council. The Newberry County Dai
ry Food Team consisting of Misses
Loitfaine Counts and Alice Beth Gun
ter was asked to give their demon
stration before the group on Thurs
day aftemon. The demonstration
was well recieved and attracted at
tention to 4-II activities in Newber
ry county.
