A great measure of the success of
Russia’s victories last winter is at
tributed to these troops who move
with the silence of a snowflake. Our
work on the home front is not so
hazardous as that of the Para-Ski
Troopers but it is important that
we perform our daily tasks and
make every effort to increase our
regular purchase of War Bonds.

Well, I could probably write three

the others who are helping The Sun
to shine again. It means a lot to

The Christmas season should be an important time tor ull of us.
It gives us a splendid opportunity to check up on our individuo! short
comings and to make new resolutions which we will endeavor to main
tain, the opportunity of a great American Christmas the remembrance
of which will remain with us throughout the coming year. 4
This year it is doubly important that we be tolerant in our thinking
and make an honest effort to be considerate of other people. It is
essential to the morale of American people during these times. Where
ever you may turn you will find people in need of a kind word, a
courteous gesture or a pat on the back. From such thoughtfulness
comes extra strength to meet the routine problems of everyday life.
It is our definite purpose to maintain this attitude, to keep the
spirit of Christmas not only on December 25, but from now on. It is
our obligation and we expect to fulfill it to the best of cur ability.
Please accept our season’s best wishes that you and yours may
spend a most enjoyable Yuletide onJ that the con. ng year wi.l find
us all reunited for <r more normal way of life.

M€RRY CHRISTMAS
a Happy, Prosperous New Year, too!
It is natural at the Christmas Season to look back over
the year; it is then that we realize that friendship and friend
liness play an important part in making business life more
thoroughly wholesome and enjoyable. Yes, it is then that we
realize that our many pleasant business relationships make
life a happy experience.
It is only natural, too, that we look upon our business
associates as our good friends . . And, while between friends,
it is hardly necessary to express one’s feelings, (when they
are pretty well understood already), we are mighty glad that
the Christmas Spirit gives us this opportunity to pledge anew
our friendship for you and to express our gratitude for your
