Miss Dickinson is the niece of Mr. and Mrs. 0. H. Dickinson of the county. She taught school in Wal- hglla prior to her marriage Tues- diay. .The following college students have arrived at their home in New berry to spend the Christmas holi days: Miss Virginia Hayes, Lander; Miss Frances Wallace, Coker; Misses Agnes Mayes, Virginia Booth, Mary Ann Davis, Mary Birge Kohn, Mar tha Mayer, Lydie and Cornelia Clar v and Dorothy Clary of Winthrop; Miss Anna Hart, Converse; Hoy Aull, Hayward Davis, Drayton Nance, Henry and Callie Boyd Parr, Gordon Leslie Meredith Harmon, Bobby Fellers, Tommy Johnson, Charles and James Senn, Walter and Albert Bodie, Billy Wilson and Bob by Hawkins, Clemson; Paul Floyd, Bob Todd, Tommy McCrackin, Kerbt and Buzz Purcell and Robert Hou- seal Citadel. M. Steele of Newberry has the honor of announcing the mar riage of bis daughter, Roberta Steele Orr and William Ellerbe Pelham of Newberry and Rock Hill. HARMON-RICKARD Mrs. Annie Padget Harmon, of Newberry has the honor of announc ing the marriage of her daughter, Mary Fraces and Mr. Edward Moise Rikard, December twelfth, one thous and nine hundred and forty-two. ADAMS-NICHOLS Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Adams of New berry, announce the engagement of their daughter, Janie to Mr. Frank Nichols of Newberry. The wedding will take place December 24. Miss Cornelia Mayer, a teacher in the Columbia high schools is spend ing the Christmas holidays with her mother, Mrs. O. B. Mayer on Main street. . IS THIS YOU? Mrs. Caroline Schenck and Miss Eva James Davis were the two per sons described in The Sun last week. This week we are going to de scribe two people that were seen at church Sunday, and at the same i time be giving them a Christmas present. Our first description is of a lady who has just passed her eighty- fifth birthday. She was dressed m black and was wearing a beautiful carnation tied with white satin rib bon on her coat. She has grey hair and brown eyes. Our second description is of a gentleman who was wearing a blue suit with a white handkerchief in his coat pocket, blue and grey tie, white shirt and black shoes. He has dark brown hair and has a habit of adjusting his glasses while talking.
