Earl Hutchinson, of Newberry, and Camo Stewart. The marriage was solemnized at 7:30 November 28 at Chapel No. 4 at Camp Stewart, Georgia. Lt. and Mrs. C. Af. Beck of Pennsylvania and Camp Stewart, Ga. were the only attendants, •Mrs. Hutchinson wore a light blue wool suit with accessories of luggage tan. She worse also a corsage of Sweetheart roses. The ceremony was witnessed by the officers of the 377tii C.A. Bn. Mrs. J. Y. McFall left Newberry last Thursday for Greenville where she will spend the winter months with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Toohey, at 22 Highland Drive. ,Mrs. J. B. Halfacre is visiting her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. N. P. Moody, in Columbia. OSWALD-AUTON Mrs. Carolyn Oswald, daughter of Air. and Mrs. Henry Auton, 1210 Third street, Newberry, and Pfc. Harold Oswald, were married Octo ber 3 with the Rev. R. C. Campbell of Columbia officiating. Adrs. Os wald is now living with her parents but after the first of the year the couple will be at home in Columbus, Ga., where he is in the postal de partment at Fort Benning. Drayton Nance and daughter, Emma Riser, and Mrs. Emma Long shore visted Mrs. Drayton Nance at the Columbia hospital Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Hornsby and daughter, Aliss Nancy Hornsby, visit ed friends at the Columbia hospital Sunday. Mrs. M. L. Spearman, of David son, N. ABRAMS, Auditor Newberry County Misses Mary Johnson and Nancy Mayes, teachers in the Greensea city schools spent the wekend at their homes in Newberry. Mrs. P. D. Johnson, of the State Training school personnel at Clinton, spent the past weekend at her home in the city. Dr. and Mrs. F. O. Lamoreux, of Batesburg, were visitors in Newberry Tuesday. Mrs. Georgia Plyler, night super intendent of the Shelby hospital, Shelby, was a weekend guest in the home of Mrs. F. G. Hartley. IS THIS YOU? Mrs. M. L. Our first description for this week is of a lady seen in the alteration room of a department store Monday afternoon sewing on a rose satin house coat. She was wearing a dark red dress, trimmed around the neck and down the front in green and wearing a green velvet belt. She has dark hair, brown eyes and wears dark rimmed glasses. The second description is also of a lady seen in a department store Mon day afternoon. She was wearing a black dress, red, green and yellow stripped sweater. She has dark hair, brown eyes and wears glasses.
