To The Citizens of Newberry County:
The ICE <Sl COAL business formerly known as Farmers
Oil Mill is now under entirely new management and will
be conducted as “Farmers Ice <Sc Fuel Co.” Mr. George
Martin will be the manager.
This new Company pledges itself to the best interests of the entire
county and it is our purpose to cooperate to the limit of our ability
with everyone, and give the best Ice &. Coal service you have ever had.
Conducting an Ice and Coal business is an expensive operation, requiring tre
mendous outlays of capital and heavy current expenses.
In these circumstances it is necessary to rearrange our delivery system and re
vise Ice prices upward. We are now working with other Ice companies in the
county to build a new price structure fair and equitable to all, and local papers will
carry this new schedule when completed.
