WARNING/
Follow these simple rales and
keep out of trouble.
DO NOT fall to stop at a STOP Mlgn.
DO NOT break the speed limit of this state and
this municipality.
DO NOT pass a car ahead if you don’t hare a
clear vision of 300 feet ahead.
DO NOT pass on a hill or curve.
DO NOT hog the road. Stay over on your side.
DO NOT cross the dividing line on highways,
especially on hills or curves.
DO NOT try to beat the traffic lights. Obey them
always.
DO NOT drive without your owner’s and oper
ator’s license.
DO NOT drive if you have been drinking.
DO NOT fail to dim your headlights at night for
oncoming cars.
DO NOT speed past school or play cones. GO
SLOWLY.
DO NOT drive recklessly at any time.
DO NOT fail to give hand signals to the car be
hind you when you are slowing down
or making a turn.
A BALL bounces out on the highway, A small boy chases madly
after, seeing, hearing and thinking of nothing but getting the ball. A
driver of a speeding car suddenly sees the boy dash right in front of
him. A sickening screeching of brakes—a swerve off the road. Too
late. A little life has been taken.

This happens when drivers do not obey signs to slow down near
schools or where children are playing. When intent on a game,
youngsters will forget all they have been told about safety. You must
think for them, to be ready at any instant to "stop on a dime.”
Warning signs are not ornaments put up to beautify town or country.
They are there for a very good reason. Follow their instruction to the
letter, and you may save yourself a lifetime of regret. Be wise, read
