TAKE WARNING-BE CAREFUl
Op ALL the suicidal pastimes, racing trains to crossings is the most
« foolish. Failure to ''STOP, LOOK and LISTEN” sooner or later
ends in a tie, and when it does it’s just too bad for the motorist.
The wise motorist looks for and obeys all warning signs. He knows
the local or state authorities have placed these signs at dangerous
«
spots for very good reasons. They must be read and followed. They
should never be ignored. Heavy fines, horrible injuries, or even
DEATH will sooner or later be the consequences suffered by drivers
who pay no attention to them.
The authorities of our city ask you to obey ALL HIGHWAY
instructions when you are driving. If you do, you’ll keep out of trou
ble. Do your part to make our streets and highways 100 per cent safe
for everyone, including yourself.
