Pictures on this page are illustra
tive of what may be expected in the
big pageant depicting the early life
and customs of Newberrians. The
pageant will be the highlight of the
Sesqui-Centennial celebration , and it
is expected that thousands will at
tend. Scenes throughout the pageant
will be enacted by Newberry people
many of them direct descendants of
the earliest settlers. The pageant
will be staged at the College athle-
■
tic field where comfortable accom
modations are provided for several
thousand spectators. April 30- May
4th will be a day long to be remem
bered and children particularly should
be taken to the pageant and given a
glimpse of the life of long ago.

Y ES, there are some things more important than money* What business, for
instance, could exist which neglected to conduct itself legitimately, to ren
der the fullest measure of service to its customers? Without customer confi-
-
dence, success would be impossible. Reputation is not easily won, and once
won, must be protected. We recognize these things for what they are, for we
know how essential they are in our contacts with our customers. Hardware is
for sale everywhere. BUT, the sincere desire to serve MUST come from within.
We are proud of our reputation of dealing fairly with a growing list of customers.
Our Very Best Wishes For A Successful Celebration of Our ISOth Birthday
