Mrs. Jordan Resigns
We regret to learn that Mrs.
I Jordan, teacher of Social Sciences
in the high school, has resigned
and will leave soon to join her
husband in Saluda where they will
make their home. We are glad to
have Mrs. Weldon to take Mrs.
Jordan’s place in school for the

McCormick Grammar School News
The teachers of both the gram
mar and high school attended the
County Teacher’s Meeting which
was held at the De la Howe School
on December 5. The subject for
discussion at this meeting was
Public Relations. Several interest
ing and helpful talks on this sub
ject were given.
The teachers at the grammar
school are working at this time to
make their rooms more attractive.
The sandtables hkve been deco
rated and borders and pictures
have been added portraying the
meaning and spirit of Christmas.
The first grade room has been
greatly improved by the addition
of bright new curtains and a new
Reading Chart.
Mrs. J. B. Harmon visited the
first and second grade rooms this
week.
