Fannie Kate McCain, McCormick,
S. C., was solemnized Saturday,
March 11, at 4 p. m., in the Naval
Academy Chapel, Annapolis, Md.
Chaplain W. N. Thomas per
formed the double ring ceremony
in the presence of a large group
of relatives, friends and former
classmates of the couple.
A reception and dinner were
held at Carvel Hall immediately
afterwards.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her mother, wore a
dove grey crepe dress and purple
violet hat with matching veil and
carried an arm bouquet of white
orchids and purple violets.
Her only attendant was Miss
Dorothy Schroeder, of Scranton, a
classmate at Cedar Crest College,
Allentown, Pa., who wore an
aquamarine crepe dress with
flower hat of bettertime roses
and a white veil. She carried a
bouquet of bettertime rosebuds
and baby breath.
