The W. M. S. of the Baptist
Church will observe a special
season of prayer and gifts for
State Missions, next Wednesday
afternoon at 4 o’clock at the
church. A good program will be
given with Mrs. Epting and Mrs.
Traylor in charge. A good at
tendance is desired.

them here for the past week end.

was among the visitors here

A representative of the Ameri
can Red Cross was in McCormick
recently and Mr. W. H. Ferguson
consented to serve as roll call
chairman for 1941. There were 70
members in McCormick County
last year and Mr. Furguson is
hoping to have at least 200 this
year. With this many enrolled
yeast can be furnished to needy
people.
When one thinks

every desire to help this worthy
organization, and during such an
emergency in which we now find
ourselves, every effort should be
