M. Bussey. Mr. W. P. McDaniel left Sunday for Warm Springs, Ga., where he has accepted a position. Mr. James Bussey from Colum bia was a week end visitor here to ?'is parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Bussey. Mr. T. J. Clem from Moncks Corner spent the past week end here with homefolks. Mrs. F. M. Bussey and children —ere dinner 1 guests here Sunday to Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Clem. Miss Rosalie Bussey left Monday for Woodruff, where she has ac cepted a position. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Skelton from Augusta were dinner guests here Sunday to the latter’s par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Bussey. Mr. Richard Key from Columbia was a week end visitor here to his mother, Mrs. Mattie Key. Mrs. Caroline Cantelou from T’dgefield is spending this week here with her mother, Mrs. G. E. Mr. Kirk White spent Monday cl this week at McCormick. Rev. G. P. Lanier fUled his reg- rlar appointment here Sunday evening, delivering a very able renaon. Mr. T. J. Stone was a business visitor to Augusta Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Bussey and Mr. T. D. Howie were visitors to McCormick on Tuesday of this was a visitor her? Monday. MaJ. and Mrs. W. B. Sharp left Tuesday morning via Augusta to return to Minnesota. They visited Maj. Sharp’s brother who is ill in the University Hospital in Au gusta. Miss Sallie T. Cade of Converse College came home for the week end to see Maj. and Mrs. Sharp and Billy while here. The many friends here of Mr and Mrs. Gerard Tarrant of Co lumbia deeply sympathize with them in their double affliction, the death of Mrs. Tarrant’s father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Wright, of Johnson, S. C., Mr. Wright died Saturday night at 7:30 and Mrs. Wright’s passing was at 5 o'clock Sunday, less than 24 hours apart. The parting after 50 years of life was too hard, and she passed away in a heart attack Mrs. Tarrant and her sisters, Mrs. Waters and Misses Helen and Maude Wright, are very much loved here and a host of friends here are saddened and grieved by their sorrows.. We extend to Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Andrews and family the heart felt sympathy of this community in their recent sorrow, the passing of Mr. A. B.
