is recuperating satisfactorily from
an operation she underwent at the
Tri-County Hospital in Orange
burg last Thursday.

A close friend, Mrs. J. W. Reece,
of Sumter, S. C., was the bride’s
only attendant.
Mrs. Connell is the eldest
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. L.
Wells of Plum Branch, a talented
musician and a young woman of
personal charm. She received her
education at the McCormick High
School and Lander College.
Mr. Connell, a native of Valdos
ta, Ga., is the son of Mrs. J. J.
