Mr. T. R. Cartledge of Parks- ville was a visitor here Tuesday. Messrs. Carl Faulkner and Boyce, Nickles, students at Clem- son College, visited relatives in and near town the past week end. Mr. J. J. Hester of the Bellvue community was a visitor here Tuesday. Mrs. L. C. Branyon of Mt. Car mel is spending this week here with her sister, Mrs. A. B. Lyon. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Kilgore of Atlanta spent Sunday in the home of the former’s grandfather, Mr. S. H. Talbert, of the Buffalo community. Mr. R. N. Miss Elizabeth Brown, who is a student of Winthrop College, Rock Hill, and her roommate, Miss Eleanor Briscoe, spent the week end with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Brown. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Strom at tended the funeral of Mrs. Strom’s cousin, Mr. Herndon Thompson, at Hamlet, N. C., Tuesday. Mrs. J. L. Smith attended the Freeland-Bowen wedding in Char lotte, N. C., Saturday evening.
