A marriage of much interest in
South Carolina and Arkansas was
that of Miss' Lucille Frances Lee
Greene and Mr. Julian Thomas
Reames which was quietly and im
pressively solemnized Friday even
ing, April 1, at the home of the
officiating minister, Rev. Ira
Patishall, of Fordyce. Miss Clara
Greene, sister of the bride, and
Mr. Taylor Reddin, were the only
attendants.
The bride was attired in a be
coming ensemble of beige with
which she wore copper accessories.
Her shoulder corsage was of Talis
man roses. She is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Greene, of
Hampton, Arkansas. She is a
graduate of the Hampton High
School of 1933, and for the past |
several years has been a popular;
Beauty Culturist.
The groom is the eldest son of
Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Reames, of Me-.
Cormick, South Carolina. He was
graduated from the McCormick
High School in the class of 1933. j
He was graduated from Clemson
A. and M. College in the class of
1937, where he was a member of
the Scabbard and Blade, Alpha
Zeta, A. S. A. E., and First Ser
geant’s Club.
I Following the ceremony the
bridal couple left for a short wed
ding trip to Hot Springs and
Memphis. They are now at home
in Hampton where he is connected
with the Agricultural Extension
Service.
