Her condition is much improved.

ill at her home here. All of her
children have been called and are

Friends of Mr. Wistar Harmon
will be interested to know that he
underwent a major operation
Tuesday morning at the Veterans’
Hospital in Columbia and is re
ported as resting comfortably at
this time. Mrs. Harmon is in
Columbia with him and Wistar, Jr.,
spent Monday and Wednesday
there with them.
Mrs. J. S. Strom, of McCormick,
Mrs. N. G. Ballinger, of Mountain
Rest, and Mrs. Grady Ballinger, of
Senecca, are spending this week
in New Orleans, La., attending the
Mardi Gras.
Mr. S. H. Talbert, who has been
ill at his home in the Buffalo
community the past five weeks, is
able to be up and about some now.

an announce the birth of a daugh
ter, Delma Louise, on March 17th,
at their home, 717 Monument St.,
Greenwood, S. C. Mrs. Bryan is
the former Miss Mary Louise
Smith.
The “Mauna Loa Strings” with
their electric guitars, featured
from Southern Radio Stations, will
appear in person at Troy school-
house, Friday night, March 25th,
at 8 o’clock. This program is spon
sored by the H. D. Club. Admis
