Of much interest to a wide cir
cle of friends is the announcement
of the marriage of Miss Frances
Walker of Troy and Mr. Waymond
Langley of McCormick.
The marriage was solemnized in
the presence of a few friends and
relatives Christmas evening, De
cember 25, 1937, at the bride’s
home, Rev. M. E. Derrick, pastor
of the couple, officiating, using the
impressive > ring ceremony.
The bride is the attractive daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Walker
of Troy. She is a young woman
of pleasing personality and many
fine traits of character. She grad
uated from Greenwood High School
in 1934.
Mr. Langley is the son of Mr.
Foster Langley and the late Mrs.
Langley and is a well known farm
er of this section. He and his bride
are making their home near Mc-
